I think it should be less associated with "emergence/emerging" and more associated with the local praxis of following Jesus in the Valley.
Ideally, a blog/website where many denominations and followers would be comfortable sharing their stories and goings-on without need to discuss theology.
I agree with Jamie. The emerging/emergence term has become very polarizing. I like the Communitas PHX site which is very missional/emerging but never uses the term. I like the word Praxis. I've been reading Brain McLaren's new book and the Orthopraxy comes to mind which he defines as good practice. That's my two cents as a member from afar. I would love to contribute if needed.
Great! I'm only about 60 pages in, but the discusion of the biblical narrative is awesome. It gives words to what I felt for some time now. It would be a great book to go through as a group due to the way it's broken up.
... to the digital home of the Phoenix, Arizona emergent cohort (an extension of the Emergent Village network). Nothing too fancy here... just a group of people in the Valley who are interested in journeying together after Jesus. All are welcome.

AZ Emerging Christianity...yeah, not too creative but easy to Google. Whatever name we pick, it has to be something that will easily pop up on Google.
Josh... thanks for taking lead on this. I am happy to help contribute.

What do you think of the new McLaren book?
