this has struck me a few times this week...
First...I guess I wonder what is the stereotypical Christian...? I have my own criteria...for sure. However...an old friend of mine posted the same thing on her FB profile and we had a brief exchange of ideas on the topic of stereotypical...to her the further she may move away from the stereotypical ultra conservativism' (aka..authentic christianity) she risks sinning against God. etc.
For me...the idea of going back to that same place of lining up under a Christian banner that is so exclusive,restrictive...and closed off...may also in fact also be sinning against God.
