Invisible Children

Hey guys, I don't know if you've heard about the kids in Uganda that have been abducted to fight in the LRA over there, but this organization called Invisible Children are organizing a rally kind of thing where we "abduct ourselves". Basically, we would go to this "abduction" site, and wait to be "rescued". There's more information on the site, I 'd encourage you to check it out. (I didn't do a very good job explaining it, so it'd probably be worth it.) But I think it would be a really interesting and awesome experience, and maybe we should check it out? Or something?

Here's the site:

(Okay, the first one was apparently the wrong link. This one should make more sense.)

Very cool. The Bams, Macs, and Nards helped organize a theater viewing of the original "Invisible Children" movie a few years back. It was actually quite a success, and from what it looks like, the organization is still kicking strong.

Thanks for posting. What celebrity are you going to invite? Where's your you tube video? ;-)

Yeah Hannah, thanks for letting us all know about this. These events are a great opportunity to tangibly make our disgust for injustice and oppression known to the public. Tara and I participated in the Invisible Children Global Night Commute back in 2006 and really enjoyed the whole experience.

If you go, give us a recap of your time!
