Just wanted to highlight a new book that's coming out:
I just learned about this book from John Chandler's blog (read his review here), and it definitely struck me as a book that will interest many of us... perhaps even a discussion book?

I've read a number of reviews about this book already and the book looks to be excellent. This would indeed be a good book for a discussion. Does anyone know much about the author?
I don't know much about it, but I find it funny that pyromaniacs is also recommending it http://teampyro.blogspot.com/2009/09/books-and-stuff.html . That could mean that it's a great book that's able reach out to many different people, or it's totally going to trash things we think are important. Either way, I think it would be a good read, and especially if it's the latter.
I think this looks fascinating - a great idea for a discussion book! Thanks for posting this Adam!
